Everything We Know About Pokemon TCG Live: Release Date and More

There’s been plenty of news about Pokémon Trading Card Game Live since the fall of 2022 when it launched in Beta, and now, we finally have a release date. The Pokemon Company and Serebii.net have both recently confirmed in an article and a Twitter post that the new Pokémon Trading Card Game Live is slated for worldwide release on June 8, 2023.

Already playing? We offer a huge selection of Online Booster Codes for the Pokemon TCG Live with instant delivery.

If you're unfamiliar, Pokémon TCG has been the go-to online battlefield for both new and seasoned players, offering the chance to collect rare cards, strategize with unique decks, and engage in thrilling battles.

In this stellar online version of the physical game, players have the power to construct formidable decks and expand your collection through scanners, crystals, booster packs, and daily quests. The game has launched in multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese, allowing everyone to connect with players from around the globe for epic battles.

Here's a bonus: Keep an eye out for redeemable codes found in physical TCG items like booster packs, elite trainer boxes, and collector sets. These codes grant you online boosters, giving you even more opportunities to enhance your collection.

To make things even more exciting, Pokémon TCG Live coincides with the highly-anticipated release of the Paldea Evolved Set, the first English-language expansion of Pokemon Scarlet Violet, which will be arriving on June 9, 2023.

Check out our most-anticipated cards from the Paldea Evolved Set here.

Is Pokemon TCG Online Shutting Down For Good?

The original Pokémon Trading Card Game Online will officially sunset on June 5, 2023 according to The Pokemon Company and Serebii.net.

To make transitioning between two platforms easier, players are strongly encouraged to migrate their accounts before the highly anticipated launch. There’s a three-day gap between the sunset of the original game and the grand arrival of the new system, so make sure you take advantage of it so as not to lose any valuable items.

Will I be able to save my Pokemon TCG Online card collection?

Absolutely! The developers have put in place measures to make this transition to the upcoming title as seamless as possible – so if you’ve got quite the digital collection that you don’t want to lose, you can rest assured you can keep them for the new title.

What can I transfer to the new Pokemon TCG Live? Can I save my cards and accessories?

According to The Pokemon Company’s official website, here’s what you can save:

  • Cards from the Sword & Shield Series (Transferable and playable)
  • Cards from the Sun & Moon Series  (Transferable and playable)
  • Cards from the Black & White Series (Transferable but not playable until further game updates)
