EX Emerald

Titan Cards offers a wide range of Pokemon Card Singles from the EX Emerald set of the Pokemon TCG including common, uncommon, rare, rare holo and even EX cards.

EX Emerald is the name of a set of Pokemon Cards released as part of the EX Series of the Pokemon Trading Card game, this is one of only a few sets ever not to be released in Japan. The set was released May 9th, 2005 and included a total of 107 cards.

Nintendo's idea with EX Emerald was that it would be released to coincide with the release of the Pokemon Emerald videogame. Where most English released sets combine cards from Japanese subsets, there were none which bore direct correlation with the Pokemon contained in the Emerald videogame so Nintendo used cards from the Japanese Emerald Gift Set and Quick Construction packs. The half of the set comprised with cards from the Emerald Gift set was never designed for competitive play, hence the cards from EX Emerald have barely ever seen much use in competitive play.

The set contained 11 rare holo cards, 10 EX cards and the secret rare holo: Farfetch'd 107/106 as well as holofoil energy cards. EX Emerald was complimented by the release of two theme decks; Hydrobloom and Wildfire.
