XY BREAKthrough is the first set of Pokemon Cards to be released for the XY BREAK subseries of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The English release arrived on November 4th, 2015 and contained 164 cards in total.

The theme of the set revolves around Mewtwo, Mega Evolution and BREAK Evolution; infact it was the first set to feature BREAK cards which would be placed on top of their standard Pokemon enhancing their strength and HP. In all BREAKthrough brings in 8 new EX Cards, 4 being Mega Evolutions and gives us our first 6 BREAK cards. Like most expansions in the Pokemon TCG BREAKThrough was complimented with the release of a couple of theme decks: Burning Spark (Raichu) and Night Striker (Noivern).
